War Servers Cluster Rules

Cluster Rules

These rules exist to keep the maps playable, fair, and performant—while still building a real community. If something isn’t explicitly covered, staff will make a reasonable call based on fairness, server performance, and player experience.

Community Standards
  1. Be respectful. No harassment, hate speech, slurs, or targeted toxicity in any public channel.
  2. No scams. This includes in-game, on Discord, or any official community channels.
  3. No advertising other servers. Keep War Servers channels focused on our community.
  4. Keep it readable. Avoid excessive caps, spam, or deliberately disruptive behavior.
PvE Maps
  1. No grief building. Do not block progression, boss access, caves, key paths, or other players’ reasonable building options.
  2. No building on Obelisks.
  3. Do not block note runs. Keep major note-run paths clear.
  4. Outside-of-base structures are restricted. No “just in case” traps everywhere or locked TPs in the open world.
    Exceptions:
    • Unlocked world TPs are allowed.
    • Rhynio traps can remain on the map as a permanent structure if left unlocked and no other traps are nearby.
Not ok: multiple Dust TPs around high-traffic areas (example: bridges on Lost Colony).
Reasoning: this reduces server memory use, reduces land-claim/clutter, and keeps the maps feeling welcoming instead of overpopulated.
  5. Public resources must be unlocked. Gas veins, sap taps, oil pumps, and similar public-access resources should be unlocked. Staff may replace locked pumps with unlocked public pumps if needed.
  6. Respect resources. Do not foundation-spam or hard-block major resource spawns.
  7. Base footprint must be reasonable. Large builds are fine—excessive land-claim and pillar/foundation spam is not. If possible, stay outside render range from other bases.
  8. No permanent bases in starter zones. Build up temporarily, then move to a proper location.
  9. Clean up after boss fights. Move dinos away from the Obelisk/arena when complete. Abandoned dinos may be deleted.
PvP Maps
  1. One primary PvP base per tribe per map. You can have a main base on each PvP map—this rule just prevents one tribe from covering a single map in multiple full bases.
  2. Outside-of-base builds are allowed. Traps, locked resource structures, and open-world TPs are allowed on PvP maps. If it’s outside, it can be raided—build accordingly.
  3. No blocking prime base locations. Do not lock down huge areas just to prevent others from building.
  4. No hidden bag spam in caves. Sleeping bags hidden in caves is unsportsmanlike and prohibited for obvious reasons.
Enforcement
  1. Staff will act to protect server health. If a build or behavior causes performance issues, blocks gameplay, or undermines the community, it may be removed or corrected.
  2. First response is usually a fix. When practical, staff will warn or request changes before taking action.
  3. Repeat or severe violations escalate. Actions may include structure removal, wipes, timeouts, or bans.
